FOR PARENTS / BEFORE CHOOSING A CAMP
IMPORTANT QUESTIONS.
CLEAR INFORMATION.
Before choosing a camp, you need to know what training involves, where your child will stay and who you can contact. Here we have brought together practical information for parents.
If you have questions about your child’s individual needs, please contact us before confirming participation.
01 / PROGRAMME AND GROUPS
WHO TRAINS, AND HOW?
Who is the camp for?
The camp is for boys aged 8–18. Players can register individually without travelling with a club, or attend as part of an organised group. If your son is new to basketball, check with the organisers whether a suitable group is available during your preferred session.
How are training groups formed?
Training groups are formed by age and basketball ability. In your enquiry, tell us how long your son has been training and about his previous experience. The number of players and coaches per training group is still to be specified. The 25 players + 2 complimentary coaches offer applies to organised groups attending camp.
How many training sessions are there each day?
Two training sessions a day are planned in an air-conditioned gym. Each lasts one hour and 30 minutes, or 90 minutes. The exact daily timetable will be confirmed.
02 / ACCOMMODATION AND CARE FOR YOUNG PARTICIPANTS
RELEVANT
DETAILS.
Here you will find confirmed accommodation and supervision details, along with organisational questions that still need to be clarified before registration.
Who looks after the children outside training?
Two coaches are with the children at all times and are responsible for supervision during their stay. Parents can contact these coaches and the organisers, Zoran Stanković and Slobodan Grbović.
What if my child has an allergy or specific needs?
Meals can be adapted to dietary needs. Please tell the organisers about allergies and other dietary restrictions before arrival so you can agree on the details. Do not send medical documents or detailed health information through the general contact form.
How are rooms and meals organised?
Accommodation at KSI Montenegro includes seven nights and three meals a day. Players stay in air-conditioned twin or triple rooms. Bed linen and towels are provided, and dietary requirements are agreed with the organisers in advance.
03 / ARRIVAL AND KIT
PREPARING FOR YOUR STAY.
What should my child bring?
The camp provides a basketball uniform set and cotton training kit, as well as bed linen and towels. Pack indoor basketball shoes, spare socks, a water bottle, toiletries and clothes for free time.
How are arrival and transport arranged?
Return transfers between Tivat Airport and KSI Montenegro are included. Travel to Tivat is not included. Arrival and departure times and pick-up details are arranged directly with the organisers around each player’s travel plans.
Who can collect my child?
Authorised collection, identification procedures, early departure and collection during a session have not yet been defined. Please obtain confirmation from the organisers before arrival.
04 / REGISTRATION AND COMMUNICATION
FROM ENQUIRY TO ARRANGEMENTS.
How do parents contact their child and the organisers?
Parents can contact the coaches supervising the participants and the organisers, Zoran Stanković and Slobodan Grbović. Their phone numbers are on the Contact page. Please agree on regular contact times and participants’ phone use with the coaches before arrival.
Will the first-edition guests return?
Kosta Jankov, Danilo Ivanović and Boban “Bobi” Marjanović were guests at our first edition in 2026. Their previous visits do not confirm attendance at the next camp. We will announce guests for 2027 after arrangements have been confirmed.
What if my child cannot attend?
Before confirming your reservation, ask the organisers about cancellation, session changes, refunds and how to submit a request.
Does sending an enquiry reserve a place?
No. An enquiry helps you receive an offer and information before deciding. A reservation is confirmed by payment of the first instalment, which also serves as a deposit. Ask the organisers for the amount and payment instructions.
HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION?
Send an enquiry about the programme, accommodation or your preferred session. The organisers will provide the information you need to plan your visit and decide about participation.
