CAMP TIVAT / PROGRAMME 2027

FROM PRACTICE
TO PLAY.

Tivat Basketball Camp is for boys aged 8–18. We practise technique, learn to read situations on the court and bring those skills together through play. Groups are formed by age and basketball ability so that drills suit the players’ level.

PRACTICE + PLAY

Technical drills, game situations and work with coaches

UNDERSTAND. TRY. REPEAT.

DETAILS THAT CHANGE YOUR GAME.

Each training session lasts one hour and 30 minutes. The coach explains the task, watches players practise and helps them identify what to improve. We work on movement and decisions with and without the ball, then apply them in games.

01

Individual skills

Technical work covers ball handling, passing, shooting and movement in offence and defence.

We focus on body position, footwork and movement control. We want players to understand what made a move work and what to repeat on their next attempt.

02

Applying skills in game situations

We connect practice with play: when to pass, how to position yourself against an opponent and where to create space for a teammate. Players link technique with the decisions they make on the court.

One-on-one, two-on-two and other game formats help bring practice into a real basketball context.

03

Working with a coach

The coach explains each task, watches its execution and directs attention to what a player can adjust.

Within group training, the coach pays attention to each player’s execution and gives guidance. Separate private one-to-one sessions are not included in this programme.

WHAT PLAYERS CAN EXPECT

MORE UNDERSTANDING.
A CLEARER NEXT STEP.

We want children to leave camp with experience of working together, a better understanding of the skills they have practised and an idea of what to work on next. Questions, attempts and repetition are all part of that process.

The camp does not promise a professional career, club selection or any particular sporting result.

AGE, GROUPS AND ORGANISATION

Groups and the daily schedule

Groups are formed by age and basketball ability. Two daily training sessions are planned in an air-conditioned gym, each lasting 90 minutes. Players can register individually without attending with a club.

The number of players and coaches per training group, daily timetable and competition formats will be specified. Arrival and departure details are agreed directly with families.

Tell us how long your son has been training, whether he competes and what he would like to work on. This helps us discuss a suitable group and answer your questions about the programme.
